The beach, the endImagine a beach,
the perfect beach:

palm trees, azure skies,
nobody around,
it's all yours,

there may even be a cocktail bar nearby.

Imagine a shackle,
heavy, made of steel,
on your ankle,
and a chain attached to it,
that links you to a huge rock.

You cannot get out.
You cannot escape.
No matter how hard you pull,
it won't move.
You can't get away.

And then the wind:
where did that come from?

And, look,
what is this dark thing in the sea?

It's a wave, you realize,
and it's coming fast,
and since you can't run away,
it'll swallow you.

You know this is the end,
yet no flashbacks come to mind,
not your life on a tape

EDIT 31.12.2012: I couldn't come with something for the new year, but here's a revamp of one of my personal fav pieces. Also, first use of my new tablet on a manip

So, the main source of inspiration was *MeetMeAtTheLake2Nite's stock photo. I've been looking at it for some time now and wondered what it reminded me of, and yesterday, as I was looking at it again and I suddenly wished to hear this soundtrack piece and it dawned on me.
I'm happy that I connected the photo with this music piece, because it made me cry every time I heard, while watching the series. Especially at Robb's wedding... gods, I'm turning into a stupid person that cries at movies
