In English - "My longing"

I had this sudden need to put these images together and I'm very pleased by the outcome

Inspiration? Don't ask about inspiration, I'm not tellin'...

I also wrote a poem:

Meine Sehnsucht - II.My longing

is a pale blue river,

it runs calm and slow
through a green hillside.

Born in the heart of a misty mountain,
running down large rocks,

so little at the beginning,
growing wider when you follow it,

digging between the mountains,
splitting them apart,
turning into a deep fjørd
-
treasonous,
deep,

all underwater currents
and unseen rocks,

ready to cut me into pieces.

I'm floating there,
laying on my back,
while dreams nibble on my toes,

and all the time
I wish
to reach the ocean
and be relieved.
